The Farmer's Market serves as many things for downtown Dumas. Besides being the main place for local produce, it also has been used for other community events.

Produce tables were designed and built by a Dumas High School student, Trent Rana, as part of his Eagle Scout Project. The tables are moveable, drainable, and hold produce.

Boxes for butterfly gardens were built by Dillon Howell, as part of his Eagle Scout Project. Students at Central Elementary plant and maintain the gardens throughout the school year.
